Although Lanai offers no public transit system, the island's hotels provide guests free shuttle service to and from the airport. Car rentals are available, but since many of Lanai's breathtaking attractions are found at the end of rugged dirt roads, to explore you'll most likely need a 4x4 (at the unfortunate rate of about $130 per day). Cars are a bit less, at a rate of about $50 per day.
